Youth Cheer Camp: UW Kids Club

Char has loved being a part of the UW Kids Club this year. Her favorite activity so far was the Youth Cheer Clinic!

It was an all morning event...and after their practice, parents came back to watch a performance of what they had learned.

Her little dance group was pretty good.

They cheered the older girls on while they performed a different routine.

And then they all danced together.

Sometimes she seemed bored....

But I think she was just concentrating because she would come alive when it was her turn.

She kept waving at us in the crowd. :)

And then it was time for her named to be called...

She walked up and received her certificate with a free UW Cheerleading calander.

She loved that day!

Walking back up to Mom, Dad and sister.

Straight as an Arrow

I straightened Sav's hair today. It was so cute to see her with long locks at only 2 & 3/4 years old. She has amazing hair.

She wanted to get her baby "Penny" in the picture.

(I think she looks like her cousin Katherine in this shot.) We just went to Katherine's baptism in Colorado last weekend, it was fun to be there and see the resemblence in our kiddos.

Char wanted in on the action too. She did her pose just like her sister.

and then added an "over the shoulder" look.

Girly Girls

We practice taking pictures so she will not blink for the camera (she has a tendency to close her eyes) It ususally takes 3 or 4 times to get it right.

see?

She LOVES her Froggy. They are so sweet when they are sleeping.

My Valentine's day was wonderful. Adam got 9 roses for the 9 years we have been married and two of them were white (representing our two little angels)

They like to try on our coats.

Rocking out to the Glee Prom episode! (Best songs in this episode)

This picture happened a while back....it was a fun day for C.

C wanted to take pictures of me and Sav one day after school. It was funny.

We need to get this girl into dance classes!

She loves high heels......scary.

Johnson kiddos came to visit for my recital. It was great!

Christmas 2011

Yes....these pictures are late.
We had a wonderful Christmas as a family. Santa ate his cookies and brought some presents.

Sav wanted to wear her new dress-up dress to church..along with her brand new heels.

We left Christmas day for Grandma & Grandpa's house. The girls had requested some towels with princesses on them. Grandma made that happen quick and they were so thrilled. They sure are spoiled by Grandma.

The weather was so much nicer up in the Black Hills (it usually is) so we enjoyed our sunsets outside.

We shopped until we dropped.

The girls met their brand new baby cousin, Camrie. What a sweet thang!!!

It was good to be with family. We loved our holiday break.

Growing Up

Just for documentation purposes (because I print this blog out into scrapbooks) we had a pretty big break through last month. Our baby girl took the liberty of switching from her diaper to big girl underwear. She has had no accidents so far and she loves being a big girl just like her sister. How amazing is that? Who has ever heard of a child potty training themselves? She just decided one day and that was that. I am so grateful for that change and realize that I got really lucky this time around. :) Way to go Savvy-kins!!
