It is a true miracle people! My daughter has been like Maggie Simpson for two years now and I thought I would never break her from these bad boys. But, despite my fear, we tackled the situation head on! Tonight after our Summer Friday's trip to the Downtown Farmer's Market and an hour at the Rec. Center pool...we came home, ate pizza and watched a movie. Everyone was in good spirits and I thought it might be a good time to ask our little on if she wanted to give her binkies to the "Binky Fairy." She yelled, "YA!" and I figured that was my window....So, we got a plastic bag and she placed all her binkies into it. Then we placed the bag up high in the living room where the fairy could get to it. Shortly after, there was quite a bit of moaning and whining for a binky when we said our prayer....but a quick 30 second cry and the girl was OUT for the night. Halleluiah!!!!! Let's hope the Binky Fairy gives a treat so amazing that we can get through the rest of the week smoothly. I am optimistic that it will get better and better each day. :) Yay.....Now on to potty training. Sigh.....
